My friend Zach goes to school at Stanford, and he’s working with a team there to create a field school at an amazing coastal property in Alaska, called the Hobbit Hole. The plan is to buy this one-of-a-kind homestead and bring students and researchers up there for Wilderness courses focused on ecology and sustainability. In the gorgeous setting of Southeast Alaska, their mission is to educate and inspire rising environmental leaders. You can check out their website [http://inianislandsinstitute.org/
] to see what the Hobbit Hole looks like and see more about their project. Right now they’re raising some startup funds for this project — it would be great if you want to check out their project, share it, and make a donation!
Step 2. Choose whatever perk makes you smile
Step 3. Donate using a credit card — it should be super easy!
Post their campaign on Facebook and your other social media to help spread the word!
This will be an exciting journey. Thanks for being part of it.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas everyone!
